Who we are
Cass Town Group LLC, founded in 1999, represents a landmark partnership between Mongolia and South Korea, born from a shared vision to bring world-class products and experiences to the Mongolian market. Established as a 50/50 joint venture, the company made history by introducing Mongolia’s first imported draft beer restaurant in the heart of Ulaanbaatar, forever changing the local dining scene. The venue featured Cass draft beer—a symbol of modern Korean brewing excellence—alongside handcrafted pizzas and innovative culinary creations that set new standards for hospitality in Mongolia.
Market Leadership and Early Growth
Between 1999 and 2003, Cass Town Group quickly rose to become the dominant force in Mongolia’s beer market as the sole official distributor of Cass Beer. Produced by Oriental Brewery (OB) in South Korea—now part of the AB InBev Group (Belgium)—Cass commanded an impressive 70% market share in Mongolia at its peak. This achievement reflected Cass Town’s unmatched expertise in distribution, marketing, and brand management, as well as its pioneering role in modernizing the country’s beverage industry.
Full Mongolian Ownership and Continued Excellence
In 2001, Mr. D. Enkhbat, the company’s visionary founder and president, acquired the remaining 50% share from the Korean partners, transforming Cass Town Group into a wholly Mongolian-owned enterprise. Under his leadership, the company deepened its commitment to sustainable business growth and national economic contribution.
From 2002, Cass Town Group was consistently honored among Mongolia’s Top 100 Highest Taxpaying Companies by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI)—a recognition of our integrity, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.
Expanding Mongolia’s Taste for Global Brands
Cass Town Group has continuously expanded Mongolia’s access to world-class beverages by diversifying its product portfolio beyond Cass Beer. Over the years, the company introduced Corona from Mexico, Bud from the United States, Hoegaarden and Stella Artois from Belgium, and Beck’s from Germany — each representing a unique brewing tradition. Through these premium brands, Cass Town Group strengthened its position as a leading importer of global beer culture and quality to Mongolia. In 2017, Cass Town Group, proudly launched Brussels Belgian Beer Café, Mongolia’s first authentic Belgian beer restaurant, introducing renowned Belgian craft beers such as CHIMAY, LINDEMANS, GULDEN DRAAK, WESTMALLE, and CUVÉE T’AAUWL to Mongolian consumers. This milestone marked our continued dedication to premium imports, quality experiences, and global hospitality standards.
In 2022, Cass Town Group expanded its hospitality footprint with the opening of the second branch of Brussels Belgian Beer Café on Seoul Street, Ulaanbaatar. This new, larger establishment features an elevated dining experience and the company’s own premium entertainment venue, “Westmalle Karaoke,” offering guests a unique blend of Belgian beer culture and modern Mongolian nightlife.
Diversification and New Ventures
In 2023, the company broadened its scope by importing fresh South Korean agricultural products and Soju, further strengthening trade and cultural ties between the two nations. Building on this success, in July 2024, Cass Town Group launched “K-Fresh,” a specialized retail shop offering premium Korean fruits and food products, imported directly by air every week to ensure exceptional freshness and quality for Mongolian consumers.
